Marketing Internship

(Internship position: 12 Month Contract)

The intention is to give practical work experience to graduates who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment. Successful interns will be expected to complete a 12-month contract commencing February 2025 and terminating in January 2026.

This post is based in Goodwood, Cape Town.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Planning and execution of a variety of marketing campaigns through innovative ideas and content marketing (develop brief written, visual and multimedia content)
  • Planning and execution of promotional campaigns, events and exhibitions
  • Planning and development of social media marketing and monitoring and reporting on these (including competitor activities and wider trends in the education sector)
  • Supporting the implementation of the data strategy to gain customer insight through data clean-up, data segmentation, and transferring data between platforms
  • Gaining experience in digital marketing and measurement of its impact through metrics such as SEO and ROI
  • Embracing a wide variety of training and upskilling opportunities through access to the Marketing & Sales Accelerator programme
  • Experiencing being a team player in a fast-paced, future-focused, high performing Marketing department
Requirements
  • BCOM / BTECH / Bed / Marketing/Education related degree
  • Computer literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Sound communication and presentation skills
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team
  • South African citizen
  • Access to reliable transport
